I have started watching the iMovie '11 tutorial and it is very interesting so far. The tutorial begins by introducing the teacher and basically to let everyone know why we are here, to better our understanding of iMovie and how it really works. iMovie is an excellent way to tell a story. You capture memories by taking pictures and you capture a lifetime by making a movie and customizing it to show your most personal moments.

The introduction tutorials illustrate how to check and make sure you are using the most current version of iMovie '11. To get the most out of using iMovie, you have to make sure you are using the correct version. By checking to see if you have the most current version, you can find out how to get the correct version of iMovie '11. The narrator is very helpful to make you understand each step in the process of making the perfect movie.

The major part of this introduction is how to import pictures and videos from different forms of connectors. Connectors can be from a memory-based camera, a bluetooth connection/USB cord, digital still camera, a tape based camera, and from e-mail messages as long as the file ends in .mov. There is also a way to import data using live action. I think this is a very unique feature because it reminds me of watching a video recording, that can be added into a movie to mean so much more.
